This is the live version of the song because I like how they changed the end of the song live versus the album version. The album version has a very pretty piano outro while the live version is harder and repeats the last verse. The song rocks live. Thrice absolutely kills it in their shows. I have some fond memories seeing them perform this song live.

False. I like to use it by typing non-word things, snipping the sample, distorting it with some effects, putting it in a granulizer/sampler, then filtering it for some gnarly ass sounds synth sounds.

It’s dumb and short but it gets the point across. It’s more of a creative/inspiration technique than anything, but it gets the mental cogs turning, sounds gritty as hell, and sometimes even makes a usable sound just by itself.
